On FanDuel our weekly NFL 2011 contests allow you to win cash instantly using your existing fantasy football knowledge

1. Select the game you want to enter
First, from the home page select the game you want to enter by sport, entry fee level and number of opponents. The multi-player leagues gradually fill up before the game. Alternatively, you can create a new head to head game which you can either send privately to a friend or publish to get publicly matched. Outstanding entries that haven't been matched will get auto matched with a random opponent just before the start of the game.

2. Draft your team
Simply add the players you think will score the most fantasy points from the upcoming games. All you need to do is stay within the salary cap for that game - our MLB, NBA and NHL games are daily and our NFL games are weekly

3. Get paid instantly when you win
Once the live games start you'll be matched against your opponent. You'll both be able to see how your players are performing live as the games happen with our free real time stats. The team that scores the most fantasy points once all the games are finished wins the cash prize.

Is it legal to play for cash?
Yes, Fantasy Sports is considered a game of skill and received a specific exemption from the 2006 Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. FanDuel uses exactly same rules as any other season long fantasy sports game, the only difference is that our games last only a day or a week.

How much does it cost?
Fanduel offers games at $5, $10, $25, $50 and $100 entry prices. The prizes for winning those games are set out in the table below. Note that for multi-person leagues the prize is only for the player that comes first. In the event of a draw the prize will be divided between the two (or more) top scoring entrants.
