What you’re saying…

We love hearing your comments and suggestions. Post them right here, quick and easy. Thanks for helping us create Bible studies that we pray will impact your students’ lives for Christ!

Some recent comments:

“Our teens have torn through the first So What? study and want to continue with Romans. We look forward to seeing them grow more in the depth of God’s Word. Thanks for making a cool and in-depth study for teens.” —Jason Steele, Pastor, Christ the King EPC, Westfield, Massachusetts

“Sounds like a great series. I have been doing something similar with the ‘so what?’ theme for years with my teens (as I’m convinced that every question asked by a teen today can ultimately be boiled down to ’so what?’).” —Rev. Brett Everett, Christ Presbyterian Church-Credo Youth Ministries, Goodyear, Arizona

“Our youth group went through session one this past Sunday. It really helped to stir up some conversation. Keep up the good work of teaching the gospel.” —Craig Partin, Youth Leader, The Way Faith Community, Missouri

“I am excited to see youth material from GCP. I am always looking for solid Reformed material.” —Rev. Gordon Oliver, Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Oostburg, Wisconsin

“I’m thinking about using this in a small group/discipleship setting. I may try to use one lesson over 2 weeks. I love that So What? is Christ-centered.” —Pablo Herrera, Youth Pastor, Spring Valley Presbyterian Church, Illinois

For close to ten years we have used the Show Me Jesus curriculum and the Kids’ Quest Catechism curriculum for our children and have recommended them to other churches and children’s ministries, and will continue to recommend to others. I have found that these are the most biblical and theologically sound children’s and youth curriculum that have passed through my desk. GCP, thank you for your work and effort to continue to equip the next generation. (pastor at Lighthouse Church, Allentown, PA)

We have just begun the “Knowing the God Who Is” study. It has great content and the kids are very receptive to it.

I really like that the the timeless truth can be updated and repackaged in contemporary relevant formats and presentation! I also appreciate the fact the solid theological foundations presented in the material. I am really looking forward to see what you do with John. My one critique of the curriculum is that like so many other youth curriculums they are topical/systematic theological driven rather than biblical theologically driven. Not to raise an old debate between systematic and biblical as if they are mutually exclusive, but as Voss argued biblical theology must shape and inform our systematic theology. More practically, I think it behooves us to teach whole books of the Bible as our students are engaging in debate with their unbelieving friends and friends from theologically diverse backgrounds. This more than just systematic theological categories will go a long way to grounding our covenant children in timeless truths of Scripture and helping them winsomely evangelize their friends.

We appreciate your comments! We are thankful that God is providing us with the resources to develop multiple studies. Some are arranged thematically, such as Knowing the God Who Is, and some are book studies, such as A Study of Romans, which will take students on a chapter-by-chapter study of Paul’s letter. There will also be more book studies, such as two on the Gospel of John and one on Genesis 1–3. We look forward to hearing more as you lead your group and pray for a fruitful time with your students!

I cannot tell you how thrilled I was to see that you have written new material. It has the “flashiness” that new curriculum seems to have today to draw in those hesitant to try something new, but underneath it’s still meaty and challenging. I LOVE it! I just had to share my excitement with you and tell you how thankful I am that you and your team have undertaken this work. I can’t wait to start teaching it! —Shannon, Sunday school teacher, Florida

GCP’s Show Me Jesus and teen studies have been the core of our children’s ministries. Doctrinally correct and organized in a way for our teachers to learn in the process of their preparations. —Chairman, CE committee, First Presbyterian PCA, Enterprise, AL

I have been praying for new material for my Sunday school class. I teach the ages of junior high through high school and I enjoy teaching my students. It is an honor that God chose me for this position. The most important thing is watching their relationship with Jesus growing. It’s awesome and I praise God. There are about 10-15 in my class. Please keep me your prayers as I trust God to teach me and guide me to teach his students. Thank you. —Greater Miracle Church of God in Christ, Wichita Falls, TX

When posting comments or reviews, please use the person’s name, providing that the reviewer has given permission. The credibility of a review is greatly dependent on knowing that it was written by a real person. Also, it would be helpful to have some well-known speakers and teachers review your product. It appears that your product is high quality, and I’m considering pre-ordering. Great Bible studies should easily earn high reviews! Thank you for making sample lessons available. Sincerely, Julie Lowman, Warsaw, Illinois
