Seems like we've got some people well on their way to the 100 (and a few who have made it), so I thought I'd split off a thread to discuss training tips. What's working for you, and what isn't? I'll…Continue

From last night: Week 5 (take 5), Day 2, Level 3. Nothing special, 185 pushups over 8 sets. Looking forward to one day getting to week 6 :)
FYI - I still am in on this. Just have a bit of an injury in my forearm working on fixing :) had to take the week off of lifting anything heavy (including myself!). will be back next week.
Just found out about the challenge, and I'll be starting this week. Did 30 for my initial test. Only 70 to go!
Week 5, Day 3, Level 3, 2nd time. Rob, I did the same thing as you except I ended taking 2 weeks off. I'm not too happy with myself about that because I didn't have any excuse not to do them.
Took a few days off but didn't realize it was 6 days, yikes! Week 5 (take 5), Day 1, Level 3. Felt those 6 days big time. 170 push-ups over 5 sets. Football season's over so time to get on it!
skipped last week due to being out of town (which is in no way a valid excuse...), but finally got through Week 3, Day 1, Level 2, and am moving on!
Week 5 (take 4), Day 3, Level 3. 200 push-ups over 8 sets. Barely got thru it after a 10 mile tempo run but banged it out while watching Kung Fu Panda 2 with the Fam (skadoosh!).
I'm just starting out with strength training so right now I'm doing 100 incline (wall) push ups. Its fun!
@Dr Pete: Thanks! Still feel like I'm in that weird plateau stage but I'm seeing little improvements week to week.
@Peter: 50 straight, Nice work! Especially with the burrito handicap.
