Unicorn Stories

Last summer, we started making short, sweet, musical videos about a unicorn. We can’t really say why.

Episode 1 – Seaweed

This was our first foray into making Unicorn Stories, so it is the roughest. Also, it is the only one that we filmed as “live action” rather than stop-motion. You might want to skip ahead to Episode 2 below (To The Moon) to see what is still our favorite episode of them all. Enjoy Episode 1, however, as a bit of archival fun.

(Song: Django-like by Brian McRae)

Episode 2 – To The Moon

To this day, our favorite episode. Unicorn hearts Moon. Moon hearts Unicorn. Featuring a special appearance by WingStand!

(Song: Freja’s Breakdown, by Freja Bluegrass Band)

Episode 3 – Shell Game

A sweet tribute to the end of summer on Cape Cod, in which Unicorn dives deep under the sea in search of a beautiful shell, and discovers a vast number of new friends. Adorableness.

(Song: Mother’s Mandolin, by Tim Oneal and Andrew B. Davis)

Episode 4 – Halloween Dream

Unicorn has a spooky dream, brought on by an excess of candy corn. Let’s be honest, we’ve all been there.

(Song: Cincinnati Flo Rag by Ken Tucker and James Swafford)
