What is Autodesk 3ds max?
Welcome to my blog dear visitor, I decided to create this blog in order to gather people together, share their knowledge and wisdom with 3D animation software, so we together can make the dreams of our imagination become true in this materialistic world. Enjoy and share. Thank you.
Autodesk® 3ds Max® and Autodesk® 3ds Max® Design software are 2 different verisons with the same technology and set of features.
What should you have? what do you want to use?
So what is the difference?
The difference is in the experience they share with the user, and the toolsets. For example, game developers, VFX artists and also graphic designers will have a totally different feeling with the software if compared to engineers, designers and architects, which makes sense if you think on the different results each should come up with.

3ds max includes:
- 3d modeling
- character rigging
- integratedrenderers
- developers customization
3ds max design is much more suited to the technical users of it:
- iteration of designs
- daylight analysis
- cinematic-quality visuals
Autodesk 3ds max is known to be at least one of the two leading softwares, and some would say that it is actually the best software.
I say that it depends whether you are a pro already or are getting there, if you are a pro , and i mean you are using animation software for about 2-4 years, you can move on to 3ds max, but if you are still some kind of a new to this, stick with the more simple animation software, so you have a better perspective on animating before moving to 3ds max.
