    New Building Entrance

    Due to construction there is a new entrance to Truax Campus. To find the entrance, follow the paw prints on the sidewalk.

    Parking Information

    Visitor Parking
    Visitor parking is available in the main lot west of Wright Street. Enter the parking lot off Wright Street and follow signs to visitor parking. Additionally, short-term, 25-minute parking is available off Anderson Street in front of the Administration Building.

    Student Parking
    Student parking is located west of the Madison College building between Wright Street and Pearson Street. Additional student parking is available next to the tennis courts at the corner of Straubel and Wright. (See map below.)

    Permits are required for all Truax Campus parking lots. Student stickers are automatically mailed once fees are paid if they include parking. Call (608) 246-6031 for information.

    Shuttle Buses
    Shuttle buses traveling between the parking lots and the main campus building run daily and students and visitors are welcome to ride the shuttles at no cost. The shuttles are in service through April 27.

    Fridays: 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

    Route and schedule information is available from City of Madison Metro Transit.

    Rideshare

    Rideshare Etc.is free service that helps commuters find matches for carpools and vanpools, locate park and ride lots, and more. For more information, visit the Rideshare Etc. website.

    Tobacco-Free Campus

    As of July 1, 2010, all Madison Area Technical College campuses and grounds, including district-owned and district-leased property, are tobacco free. Tobacco use is prohibited inside all college owned and leased vehicles, buildings, grounds and parking lots.
