Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Jacob Grapevine, D.D.S.
A native of Canton, TX, Dr. Grapevine attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate degree then went on to pursue dentistry at the University Health Science Center in San Antonio. After graduation, Dr. Grapevine completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Baylor college of Dentistry in Dallas where he received advanced training in implants, veneers, crowns, dentures, root canals, dental surgery, esthetic fillings, oral health education, and other dental needs.
Communication is a key part of Dr. Grapevine’s treatment philosophy. Dr. Grapevine aims to develop a bond of trust with patients, not just a treatment plan. He spends time listening to patients’ needs and desires and creating a game plan to accomplish their goals.
Dr. Grapevine is the only General Dentist on staff at the Medical Center Hospital of Plano where he serves the needs of the hospital patients. Continuing education is such a strong value to Dr. Grapevine that he gives back to the local dental education institution of Collin County Community College Dental Hygiene Department. He helps hygiene students understand the many aspects of oral health and how to educate patients on preventive care. In order to recognize early signs and symptoms of dental disease, Dr. Grapevine has sought the proven teachings from the Dawson Academy. With over 50 years of research to dentistry, the Dawson Academy is highly respected in the dental community for its conservative treatment for simple to complex cases.
Dr. Grapevine is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Dallas County Dental Society.
Dr. Grapevine is married to his wife, Amber and is new to the Plano area. He enjoys reading, wood work, dining and training his new dog, Toby.
Dr. Wayne Goodowitz, D.D.S.
Dr. Goodowitz has been practicing Dentistry in Plano, TX since 1975. He specializes in Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, with a special focus in restorative dentistry, crowns, veneers, implants and comprehensive dental health care. He has established a patient-focused philosophy, where he and his skilled staff get to know each of his patients, and work together to help them attain their personal goals for their smile.
Dr. Goodowitz has observed Plano grow from a small suburban city to a large urban community. He and his wife, Joyce, have been active in its growth. Their children, Brian and Amy currently reside in California.
Wayne Goodowitz, D.D.S. is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and the University of Missouri at Kansas City Dental School. He served in the United States Army before starting a dental practice in Plano. Dr. Goodowitz is a member of numerous professional organizations including:

Dr. Goodowitz has served as the director of education for Dental Careers Foundation since 1993. Dr. Goodowitz and his staff have trained hundreds of dental assistants throughout Collin, Brookhaven, and Northlake colleges since 1993.
Wayne Goodowitz is proud of Plano, his practice and all of the many wonderful long-time patients he has treated. He enjoys playing tennis and golf.
