Join us for the first Oral Cancer Awareness Walk organized by the Minnesota Dental Hygienist Association.
The location is Lake Harriet: 4135 West Lake Harriet Parkway Minneapolis, MN 55419
The walk/ 'fun run' will be approximately 5k Participants may bring a picture of someone you are walking in memory of or someone you know who is currently battling cancer of any kind, there will be a board for such photos. All will be returned at the end of the event. Our goal is to spread awareness and early detection of oral cancer and hopefully save some lives. All proceeds will benefit the Oral Cancer Foundation to support its mission of research, advocacy and support for those affected by the disease.
Start your own fundraising page or create a team!! An iPad 2 will be given to those who raise over $5,000 on their personal fundraising page!!! Prize will be sent directly from OCF!! So start your page today!! It's a great incentive while you are rasing money for the walk!
Anyone raising over $3,000 will be eligible to win an Apple iphone as well!
