Blue Seat Blogs was created in December 2008 and is an unbiased blog about the business of hockey and the New York Rangers. Five people contribute to make Blue Seat one of the best Rangers blogs on the web:

Dave:
Dave founded Blue Seat in December 2008. A rookie blogger at the time, Dave has quickly become a respected blogger amongst Ranger fans. As Blue Seat grew, Dave was asked to contribute to Puck Prospectus, and was the lead hockey writer on Stalking Steve Phillips (RIP). In addition to Blue Seat, Dave contributes on a regular basis to Blueshirt Banter.

Chris:
Chris joined Blue Seat Blogs in the 2009-10 season. A blogger based in the UK, Christian was a main writer for UK Sports website nasports.co.uk as well publishing on several German football websites and writing in MMA publications. A huge fan of the Giants, Rangers and Knicks, Christian jumped at the chance of joining Blue Seat Blogs and is part of a new website focusing on New York sports – from a UK perspective – beginning in August.

The Suit:
The Suit joined Blue Seat Blogs during the 2010-11 playoffs. Prior to joining, he had his own blog The Hockey Suit where he primarily focused on the business/analytical side of hockey, which is where he has spent most of his professional career.  Having worked for several pro teams, The Suit has a very different perspective (and humor for that matter) on the league and the game at large.

Justin:
Justin joined Blue Seat Blogs during the 2011-2012 season. Prior to coming on board, Justin co-founded MAC Goaltending, a goaltender development company. Justin specializes in goaltender analysis; stemming from his time with MAC Goaltending, and his time playing US Junior hockey and NCAA Division I Junior hockey. Having this much goaltender experience gives Justin a hands-on view of the goaltender position, which could be the most under appreciated position in sports.

Stas / Mike Axisa:
Every now and then, you will see a post by Stas. Stas helped get the site off the ground in the beginning. A hefty work schedule limits his posting, but you will see a few posts from him occasionally.

Mike Axisa of River Ave Blues also posts occasionally. Mike also helped get the blog off the ground in the beginning, posting several links from RAB. As you can imagine, Mike is very busy running the best Yankees blog out there, but he will generally post big news when the rest of us are unavailable.
