Breakfast today!

February 7, 2012

in breakfast, muffins

I made some Apple Cinnamon Muffin for breakfast today and found out that the muffin tin I bought is too small for me.

What did you have for breakfast this morning?

Silly me. I’m asking about breakfast at 10:30 in the evening.

I just thought I’d ask and make that instead of tofu or oatmeal tomorrow.

Well, have a good night.

I hope we’ll all feel better tomorrow morning…

Strawberry Basil Mojito {Alcohol-Free}

February 3, 2012

in beverage, Food Friday, Food Trip Friday, Friday Potluck, Full Plate Thursdays, mocktails

This mojito was downed after my morning coffee {what?}…

Because I have all the reasons to celebrate….

According to my countdown, it’s 89 days to go and peanutbutter will finally be here.

It’s my third week on Shaun T’s Hip Hop Abs and I’m not even keeping track if I’m losing weight or not because I just feel great…plus our weighing scale is broken, hee. All I know is that it’s giving me a different kind of high.

I just changed the sheets. Nothing can beat rolling and sleeping on crisp, clean bed sheets that smells like it’s just been taken out of the dryer.

It’s now the second week from when Ykaie gave up her feeding bottle and my 1st day of finally convincing my niece, Cyra to give up hers..Yeah!

After 6 frigging hours at the salon yesterday, I now have totally straight, sleek and gorgeous hair. I love it.

One month of having only one cup of coffee per day. I managed to substitute one cup of Mint Tea at night. I had two {or was it five?} days of set backs but it’s fine…

It’s friday. I feel like celebrating even though I don’t really know how a “weekend” feels…LOLz

Will you look at how gorgeous this drink is?

This is an alcohol-free mojito because I don’t drink early in the morning. It’s infused with the sweet flavor of brandy and it has all the flavors of the incoming Summer.

Fresh Basils costs P9 at the grocery and you can get three packs of  Strawberries for P100.

Oh, it’s so tempting to just put a drop of rum or vodka in it….

Believe me, this is serious business coming from a person who rarely drinks …

[wait, there's more....]

Yogo Factory

February 9, 2012

in frozen yogurt

If you’ve been reading my blog for quite sometime now, you probably know how much I love frozen yogurt. Not only is it good for the body, it is also delicious. I have to get a cup of it whenever I go to the mall or I go out. I’ve tried all the brands of frozen yogurt available in the market and I’ve found only a couple that I prefer. If I’m gonna get my own frozen yogurt franchise business, I’d probably get the Yogo Factory.

Yogo Factory carry non-fat frozen yogurts, low fat frozen yogurts and sorbets which are made of real yogurt and contains 100-200 million cultures per gram of beneficial live and active yogurt cultures including S. thermophilus, L. bulgaricus, L. lactis and L. acidophilus.

They also carry an unbelievable number of flavors which I haven’t seen on other brands like Hershey’s Kisses, White Chocolate Macadamia, Lemon Ice Box Pie, Pomegrenate Energy and Cherry Amaretto –and that’s just for the nonfat flavors which contains .5g of dairy butter fat per serving. For the low fat which contains 1g-5g of dairy butter fat per serving, they have Dulce de leche, Cherry Limeade, Reese’s Peanutbutter, Red Velvet Cake and Rocky Road. They also offer seasonal flavors like Pumpkin Pie,Peppermint Stick, Eggnog, Chocolate Mint, and Spiced Apple Pie.

The choices of their dry toppings, colds toppings and sauces are also endless. They have my favorite mochi and liquid marshmallow sauce.

If I’m a customer, I would absolutely go back everyday just to dry the different flavors and toppings available.
