    Every year, human traffickers generate billions of dollars in profits by victimizing tens of thousands of people here in the United States. In 2011 alone, the National Human Trafficking Resource Center hotline received more than 19,400 calls. Victims of human trafficking face a horrific life in which they are threatened, beaten, raped, starved, locked up, or psychologically manipulated - all for the financial profit of human traffickers. West Virginia is one of two states with no law against human trafficking, but you can help change that.
  • Indiana | Thank Governor Daniels for making human trafficking a priority
    As of Monday, January 30, 2012, Indiana has passed anti-sex trafficking bill SB 4 into law, just in time for the Super Bowl. The bill passed unanimously through the State Senate and House of Representatives and was signed by Governor Mitch Daniels on Monday.
