Game sources sale

I am selling source codes of all my currently published projects at very attractive prices, ranging from $40 to $400. Most of the projects are sold in two versions: With levels and assets, and without levels and assets. I assure that my games are good quality (if you are not sure just check out yourself) and I will make sure the code is fixed and tweaked in such a way that it is possible for average coder to extend the game.

The complete document can be found here: files.mauft.com/documents/SourcesReference.pdf (966kB)

In there you will find some introductory notes, FAQ, all games with description, screenshot, some extending suggestions, short report about the code quality, Newgrounds stats and prices; what rights you purchase with the source and a FAQ for concerned. Feel free to contact me if you are interested or have any questions at maurycy.zarzycki@mauft.com

Introducing Randogame – new site joining our network

I am proud to announce that a new site has joined our network - giving you random game each time you refresh the page, Randogame.com! New games are added daily or every other day. We will try to supply it with at least 7 games per week (which gives game a day, yes) but how will it work? We shall see.

Besides being another Flash Games portal under our command, Randogame will also function as a brand. Retrocade.net makes Retro game, Mauft.comcreates general games. Randogame will be responsible for creation of small titles, usually games which takes less than a day to create.

Speaking of which, the first game released to promote Randogame is Cloudie, charming adventures of a cute cloud, a very simple survival game where all you have to do is avoid angry clouds.

As any other site on our network, Randogame.com can always be found on the top thinbar, next to Mauft.com and Zolyx.co.uk.

New game releases

I'd like to point out some new and recentgame releases at Retrocade.net.

Rock Rush: Undervaults - a semi-sequel to Rock Rush, which features brand new graphics to accompany awesome 20 levels which were done by Chris.

Rock Rush: Classic II and Rock Rush: Classic III- levelsets from C64's Boulder Dash 2 and Boulder Dash 3

Other than that, a new site is about to enter our Network! What will it be? Where will it come from? All shall be unveiled soon... For now let me leave you with a feeling of more-wanting.

New Games

Just a quick post to wrap-up what new games we have managed to spawn in the meantime:

Rock Rush and Rock Rush: Classic I alternate levelset are a clone of Boulder Dash and Emerald mine.

Kulkis 1.5 is a sequel to Kulkis which greatly advances the plot and is pretty difficult game. It has also a very sandbox-like alternate levelset Kulkis 1.5: Art Gallery.

Retrocade.net

Something I should have done earlier - some time ago I have released my second website, Retrocade.net! It is flash games portal with hand-picked, retro themed games. We work hard to maintain high quality of our content, with weekly updates and frequent game additions. I strongly encourage you to visit it and play some games.

Other than that, Mauft will soon feature a revamp, new theme and change to a more portfolio-like website with stress on guiding people to Retrocade.net.

Ogg Vorbis in Flash

I realize that some time ago I wrote a frontend for the Adobe Alchemy's Ogg Vorbis decoder. I know I neglected to post it due to large amounts of time being absorbed by various stuff (in other words, except Fridays I have roughly three hours of time not spent working or doing any other activity not related to having fun).

DOWNLOAD OGG VORBIS ALCHEMY LIBRARY FRONTEND BY MAURYCY ZARZYCKI (MAUFT.COM)

Speaking of that, I wanted to once again publish my frontend. I haven't made any changes to that, all existing bugs still exists. I am officially abandoning this thing and will NEVER AGAIN work on it, feel free to use it in any way you want, as long as you stick to the licensing present in Readme. Below is an excerpt from readme:

[Embed(source="c:/TestAudio.ogg",mimeType="application/octet-stream")]
private var OGG_FILE:Class;
var embedTest:OggEmbed=new OggEmbed((new OGG_FILE) as ByteArray);
var streamTest:OggStream=new OggStream("www.vorbis.com/music/Hydrate-Kenny_Beltrey.ogg");
var radioTest:OggRadio=new OggRadio("www.foo.be:8000/cthulhu303.ogg");
//embedTest.play(100);
//streamTest.play(10);
//radioTest.play();
//embedTest.stop();
//streamTest.stop();
//radioTest.stop();

Aside from this, don't expect many new updates. We are working on a big side project, the expected release is end of November, but the final deadline I set to the New Year's Eve. As of now? Game on!

Slowly forward

As usually it happens, I have failed to meet my own decisions regarding the site. The reason is quite simple - I am to busy with current projects. Right now I am making mobile games for one company, seven out of eight projects are more or less, and my deadline burns my eyes with words twenty-second Sunday. So once we reach this date I am, quite probably, going to have a bit more free time. Actually, I am planning to, once I finish all the matters with mobile games, make a month long break from projects, so most likely I will be pimping up the site, working on one other site, and preparing Platogo versions of all my projects... And downloadable versions too. That would be it, I am still alive!

Flash Ogg Vorbis library

I have noticed that there is quite an interest in the Ogg Vorbis library for flash which I made a "frontend" for. Later this week (or sometime around next) I will repost it on the site, so please stay tuned. On the other news, Squario 2 is up on the bidding on Flashgamelicense (if you are a sponsor check it here), right now I am working on a couple of Mobile games, and there are plans to open a flash games portal. Please expect an update in a week.
