Geek Speak – Go to This: The MSU Comics Forum

I am a fan of the “sequential art” and of “conventions.” So when I can partake in both at once, like an even more inedible Double Down, I am overjoyed. Especially when the event is FREE.
As mentioned on yesterday’s podcast, the MSU Comics Forum is this weekend (At Michigan State University, duh). It is a free comic book convention of sorts, although you won’t be able to meet the guy from Buck Rogers, talk to 60 year old Playboy Playmates, or take a photo of the General Lee.
But, you can meet artists and writers (many of whom call mid-Michigan home), attend a Keynote Address with Jessica Abel (Fri., 7PM), and check out the Artist and Scholar Panels (full schedule).

After a lecture from an aesthetician about my apricot scrub habit (apparently it’s too rough for my skin) I needed to switch to a more gentle cleanser. Seeing the new Neutrogena Naturals cleanser on sale, I decided to give it a whirl.
I’ve always enjoyed Neutrogena products, and they’re what my dermatologist recommended when I was a teen.
