I am a guest on Creating Success Around the World

A couple of weeks ago i got an email from the lovely Citra of Innocentia  a crafty blogger from Indonesia! You might remember from her tutorial to make triangular purse was featured on Sew Crafty Saturday back in October 2010.

In her email she introduced me to “Creating Success Around the World”

In case you haven’t seen this, it’s a weekly feature run on “Creating My Way to Success” hosted on Jembellish  a blog run by Jill Shepherd, and 3 other blogs in the USA, Europe and Asia.

Each week  it showcases and promotes  some creative talents in each  corners of the world and also provide a blog hop where everyone can link up their blogs and projects and make some new international friends.

Citra was going to be hosting for Asia continent for the month February and asked if i would like to guest post for her by answering a couple of questions. After doing a happy dance i replied to her email with a big YES!

Here are the questions i was asked:

1. Who is the persons behind the ‘Sew Chic and Unique’ ?
2. How did you come up with your business name?
3. What do you create?
4. Why do you create?
5. Do you sell your creations? If so, how? Where? And is it profitable?
6. What mistakes have you made or lessons you have learned?

Very Pinteresting?

Confused by the title?

I am talking about Pinterest..it is going to change the way you bookmark  and it will  leave you inspired.

Ever since i have become a member under {Sewchicnunique} i have been addicted to it

Pinterest is a virtual pin board where you can share all the things you like, find interesting or simply bookmark. What is great about it is that you can organize it as you wish by creating boards for every category and grouping them. Sweeeeeet!

So how does this work you wonder?

When you find something you like, you “PIN” it!

By pinning something it automatically grabs the image from the website you provided and prompts you to select a board (which category you want {fashion, crafts,} whatever you want to save it as)

To get a better understanding of how to use pinterest i suggest you read the help page, which will give you a thorough explanation of how to use pinterest.

You may have noticed the “Pin it” button at the bottom of my posts circled in orange

 

Which makes it so much easier as you simply click on that button and it takes you to your pinterest page and you pin it to your board!

Another great thing about Pinterest is that you can follow other members boards who have similiar interests as yours. I should warn you though that this is addictive ~ dont say i didnt warn you!

I cant believe i forgot to tell you that if you have a smart phone you can pin ANYWHERE TOO!
