  • Blank page

    Blank page

    Lonely, staring up at me
Daring me to try to be
    Simple yet profound

    Words alone
    For all that consciousness allows
Find I'm at a loss for how
To say just what I've found

I entered through an open door
Left by all who came before
With thoughts so rich yet words so poor
    For truth's already spoken for

    Reach within
To find a misplaced bit of truth
In love or hate or age or youth
In what prized piece of mind

    Close the book
Evasive truth still yet to find
Of rhythm felt by twisted rhyme
    When words get left behind

Well something snaps and then you learn
    Chasing words is no concern
Then one by one they die and turn
To mild regret and hopeless yearn

    Blank page
    Lonely, staring up at me
    Escaping my apology
From a blank page left unsung

I'm ultra busy right now. And when I am not as busy, I have found the empty screen looks rather intimidating. Words do not flow so easily today. The thoughts are there, I still want to tell  my tales and give my opinions.  Its all there, wanting to come out, but it seems a wall separates my ideas from this blank screen.

  • The Obama Economy

We are told we are  in an economic recovery. 243,000  new jobs this mouth (yes there is a good reason they did not say 243,000 for the year). Here is a chart that shows the great year we just had. And this time Obama it taking credit for it, so we can stop saying Bush did it. Obama is proud of his economy he says did this. He admits it and wants credit for it.  I say our President is right, he deserves full credit for this economy.

Table A. total nonfarm employment, January-December 2011, seasonally adjusted

    January 130,456
    February 130,563
    March 130,922
    April 131,173
    May 131,227
    June 131,311
    July 131,407
    August 131,492
    September 131,694
    October 131,806
    November 131,963
    December 132,166

That is right, in a year where the lowest percentage of Americans are working
    full
time jobs, than at any time since married woman went into workforce in
    large
numbers in 1980s. We hear things are great, hooray for the Obama economy.
He is no longer saying Bush did it.

This year our population grew by 3 million people and there were new jobs for 171,000 of them, isn't that just lovely.  As you can see in this great economy that Obama wants to take credit for. The number of people who needs jobs is growing faster than the number of jobs available for them. And remember you are not counted as unemployed unless you are on an employment list. In other words collecting an employment check. This is the state of the union that Obama is not blaming on Bush.

Are you enjoying the Obama economy?

Are we really in a good economy?

We are told that the recession ended on in June of 2009, do you believe that?

Next we can talk about what Obama has done to make this a great economy his goals accomplishments. What Obama did during those years were he had more political power than any president on over 30 years. Lets look at what Obama did.

Before one of you dummies make a fool of yourself and say "did you get that from Fox news" hit the link and see where I got the numbers from.

  • Man is warming the earth. We need to do more about it

I have been talking about man made global warming lately. This is a very serious issue and we need to do more about it. Admittedly the theories about
anthropogenic global warming are not proven facts, but the climate cycles are facts,  all geologists agree with what I am about to say (not most all). No one is arguing against this, the following is a fact not a theory.

Our current warm period on this planet has lasted about 11,600 years, roughly 600 years longer than the average. We are about 600 years over due for an ice age (end of where no one disagrees with me)  If the theory of man made
global warming is true we might be able to stop what would be the greatest of all disasters. Imagine a third of all of north America Europe and Asian covered in year round ice?

Mass extinctions, the northern parts of the western world be totally depopulated. Billions of people would die.

Ok guys lets do out part to save the earth. Lets have a big barbeque and buy ourselves a big four wheel drive truck with a V8 engine. Lets go out in the woods, with a keg of beer, and party with a big bon fire every night. Turn the damn heat up, and drive faster. This will be doing the right thing and having a great time while doing it.

If we all do that, we might save billion of lives
and improve the economy by drilling for oil, gas, building cars and making more beer...

  • Tell me again about man causing climate change?

I was just looking at this ice age cycle chart. It seem at the exact time in our ice age cycle where the earth is normally warm, we are warm. Though not at all unusually warm. What human activity has been causing the climate to keep changing so predictable over the last 500,000 years? This chart goes back 450,000 years. Since man is supposedly causing the climate to change now, and this chart shows our climate acting exactly like it is now through 5 cycles in the last 450,000. What has man been doing these last 500,000 years to be causing this?

About Me

  • Just a girl. I am a contrary one, but beyond that I am not so unusual, if that is unusual at all. I grew up on a farm, only 35 miles outside of Seattle, closer to Tacoma. Tacoma a city I lived in for a while. I am now back at the farm, having fully succeeded in not following any of my parent’s advice. Sadly it was all very good advice I didn’t follow. So here I am, eating crow. Were did that saying “eating crow” come from?
