About

Once upon a time in a sunny South African city by the sea, a group of slightly peculiar people from very different walks of life were brought together by a shared goal: to spread enthusiasm for nature and wildlife as far and wide as the online realm would allow.

And so the Earth-Touch blog was born.

Earth-Touch HQ is like a nerve centre: a little manic but also the perfect place to be if you want to keep your finger on the pulse of what’s going on in the world. Populated by eccentric eco-junkies, caffeine-crazed video editors, online geeks and always-on-the-go camera crews, it’s a place where creative juices never stop flowing and environmental and wildlife issues are always up for debate.

With so much going on, filling our blog with top-notch content is never a problem.

But don’t expect anything too highbrow or preachy. We’ll gladly admit that we love keyboard-playing cats (almost!) as much as beautifully shot footage of an Okavango sunset. And while we’re always trawling the web for some serious eco headlines, we’re equally comfortable in the arena of the weird and whacky (banana eco-underwear, anyone?). While our crews crisscross the globe in pursuit of the next wildlife epic, we’re also not above spilling some behind-the-scenes secrets…Want to sign up for Bush Mechanics 101? Ever eaten grilled piranha (we hear it’s really tasty)? Need some wildlife photography tips? Then you’ve come to the right place.

We also know that a blog is only as good as the people who read it – so we’re always over the moon when you connect with us…Join our unruly office debates, leave a comment or question, or, if you’ve had a flash of literary inspiration, find out how to become a guest blogger.

Now meet the team…
