Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined. -Henry David Thoreau

spacer What’s my name, what’s my station
Oh just tell me what I should do
I don’t need to be kind to the armies of night
That would do such injustice to you
Or bow down and be grateful and say
“Sure, take all that you see.”
To the men who move only in dimly-lit halls
And determine my future for me

And I don’t, I don’t know who to believe
I’ll get back to you someday soon you will see

If I know only one thing, it’s that everything that I see
Of the world outside is so inconceivable,
often I barely can speak
Yeah I’m tongue-tied and dizzy
and I can’t keep it to myself
What good is it to sing helplessness blues
Why should I wait for anyone else?

And I know, I know you will keep me on the shelf
I’ll come back to you someday soon myself

About Me

In case you were wondering, my last name is pronounced Ahn-dri-zek. It’s easier to say than it looks. I’m a red-headed southpaw, mother of two, amateur photographer, design enthusiast and music lover. I favor natural light over flash, Mac over Windows and Dunkin’ Donuts home-brewed coffee over Starbucks any day. I’m also a sucker for inspirational quotes and poetic lyrics (as seen above). I’ve been known to put a song on loop for hours if the mood takes me.

I love nature, landscapes, rural decay, street photography, environmental portraiture, lifestyle and food photography. Obviously I haven’t found my niche yet but that’s half the fun of learning! Speaking of which, I’m completely self-taught thanks to a passion for books, sites like Kelby Training and podcasts like TWiT Photo.

Currently I live in Southeast Wyoming, but spend a lot of time in Colorado and Nebraska as well. I also socialize at watering holes like Twitter and Flickr and  Google+ (my favorite). Say hello any time!

Journal

This is where I feature some of my photography, the occasional freebie and a variety of design or photography related ephemera. Since I’ve never considered myself much of a “blogger”, that’s about it. I’m just a girl who likes to create and share stuff.

Collections

Coming soon. This is where I’ll attempt to organize and showcase a handful of my favorite shots. Being a hobbyist, most of these are from personal projects.
