Foxload - Browser Download

Foxload bietet nicht nur Informationen zu den aktuellen Webbrowsern wie dem Firefox. Nein, auch die natürliche Umgebung, in der ein Fuchs unterwegs ist, soll an dieser Stelle vorgestellt werden. Es geht um ein Theme für die Blog-Software Wordpress. Damit lässt sich ein Blog und eine Webseite in natürlicher Umgebung darstellen.

Die Farbgebung von NatureFox orientiert sich an Braun- und Grüntönen. Als Hintergrundbild ist die bereits erwähnte natürliche Umgebung eines Rotfuchses gewählt worden. Das Theme ist wie Firefox kostenlos verwendbar und kann natürlich auch an die eigenen Bedürfnisse angepasst werden. Das Stylesheet ist in den gängigen Browsern getestet worden und ermöglicht somit eine fehlerfreie Darstellung in Firefox, Chrome, Opera und natürlich auch dem Internet Explorer.

   In my firefox the links are all shown in the blue color. The "visited" means, that you have visited the "offsite" once before. You don't have to click on it, it's also "visited" if you was on the offsite with direct type-in or over another way. So, if you use Firefox in "Private Mode" alle links should look the same.

   If you wanna change the color universally use it without the "link" suffix: a {color: #3F80B6;}

   I am using the free WordPress Theme NatureFox 1.0.5 for my blog at the above URL. The Twitter Widget for the right sidebar does not display properly. I have screenshots of both how it should appear and how NatureFox displays it, but I don't know how to attach them here. I can send them by email, if you want them.

   Please let me know how we can fix this problem with the Twitter widget.

   I must admit that I am a novice when it comes to crafting Wordpress themes. What do I tweak to increase the width? If I could just increase it a tad it would be the perfect theme for my site. Thank you!

   You have to change the width in the style.css:
   The classes .header, .header ul.menu, .cbox and .content should be changed. But you also have to change the width of the background images, or you add the css attribute background-size:100% to the classes.

   You have to change the width of the background images, too. So resize header.png, cbox.png and content.png to the new width. You find the files in the subfolder "images".
