About The Harbour

The Harbour Church is an intimate community of believers, passionate about glorifying Jesus. We are a church structured by biblical precedent rather than tradition. Our desire is to cultivate an environment where the presence of the Holy Spirit can move in the depths of our hearts.

The Harbour Model

Some churches meet in buildings. Some meet in homes. The Harbour Church model is a hybrid of these two meeting places with the focus on the community, not the location.

Three Sundays a month, we meet in homes throughout south Florida. We call these groups Home Fellowships. The First Sunday of every month, we meet in our ministry center for a corporate gathering and celebration of family.

Our model is simply an attempt to best steward what Jesus is doing in our community. A model and a method have no power in themselves to change hearts or reveal Christ. This structure is a wineskin existing to contain what the Holy Spirit is doing in our specific local church. We desire that none of the Holy Spirit’s work would be lost.

Home Fellowships are the heartbeat of The Harbour. Each Home Fellowship consists of a time of worship, a group Bible study, personal ministry, a time of prayer, communion and a meal shared together at the end. These groups provide a safe place for people to share their hearts, express their ministry gifts, form mentoring relationships and forge friendships. We believe that the intimate community and spiritual interaction that takes place during these times is not only changing lives, but rebuilding our understanding of what God intended His church to be.

Mission

Our mission is to make wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ and equip them to function in their God given purpose for life.

Vision

Our vision is to rescue, restore and release a generation into their destiny in Christ.

This doesn’t happen at a single service, so we’ve developed key meetings designed to provide a safe environment where believers can be transparent before the Lord, encounter the Holy Spirit, get connected to the body of Christ, and learn to walk in all that God has promised for us individually and corporately.

Our goal is to raise up true disciples of Jesus, not just converts. All are welcome so we invite you to come be a part of what God is doing in our community.
