spacer So whether it’s munching on mind-blowing sugary masterpieces, sneaking into underground joints, or hanging out in chic food boutiques, The Urban Grocer leads you on a bold exploration from the edgy to the brilliant to the unusual.

Co-founders Caitlin Zaino, Darshan Sanghrajka and Michael Murdoch manage The Urban Grocer with support from Managing Editor Paige McClanahan and a growing team of contributors, designers, digital strategy kids, interns, and finance brains. Together, this dedicated bunch is working zealously to develop and expand The Urban Grocer publication and brand.

In March 2011, The Urban Grocer launched it’s own Supper Club, a series of closed-door and pop-up dining events. The following month and again in October 2011, The Urban Grocer aired as a television special on the US-based network, the Cooking Channel. Born out of the same concept as the website, The Urban Grocer television show explores cutting-edge foods in the world’s hippest cities. In the inaugural episode, host Caitlin Zaino heads to Buenos Aires, where she uncovers the posh to the underground and the mainstream to the off-the-beaten-path of the city’s culinary scene.

As of January 2012, our enthusiastic and creative team began work on the next generation of The Urban Grocer, set to launch in coming months as a multiplatform new food media space. Stay tuned for more! This is only the amuse bouche…
