The Yuppie Files was created as an outlet to write about all my loves, from traveling to pretty shoes.

The name comes from my dad, who has nicknamed the area where I live “Yuppieville”. Yuppies are young urban professionals who love to do things like go to the farmer’s market, own dogs, & pretend they know a lot about wine.

After protesting the description for many years I’ve come to embrace it & decided it was an appropriate title for my blog since this is the life I lead.
