I would like to share with you the defining moment that changed my life forever. My younger brother succumbed to morbid obesity when he was only 45, leaving a wife, three children and siblings behind. He had many health problems attributed to morbid obesity.  I soon learned that obesity is not necessarily hereditary; it is what we put in our mouths that can make a difference.

After losing my brother, I knew I had to make some drastic changes, but I was still in denial. Soon, reality set in because I was dealing with high cholesterol, migraines, arthritis in my lower back, and weight fluctuation. I knew it was time to seize the moment and take control. While looking for a solution, in my research, I discovered raw and living foods and knew that would be the perfect way for me to launch my journey. As a chef, I knew how to prepare healthy and delicious meals and after training to become a master raw chef it took my cheffing knowledge to another level!

Juicing, drinking green smoothies, eating salads, sprouts, and eating a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables inspired me to master this new lifestyle. The weight melted off and my health problems ceased to exist because of my resolve to change. I became my first client years ago when I weighed 185 pounds. I now weigh a lean 125 pounds and I look and feel great!
