SabreCast is a podcast about the Buffalo Sabres hosted by two die-hard fans. During the regular season, hosts Mike and Matt Spencer publish a weekly show that includes game reviews, news, listener feedback, and a main discussion. SabreCast is NOT affiliated with Buffalo Sabres or NHL in any way.

Why does this podcast rock?

Because it is hosted by two huge Sabres fans that have hardly missed a game since being introduced to the team during the 1998 playoff run. The format is light, conversational, and (hopefully) informative.

Who are the hosts?

Mike Spencer

Mike is a Web Developer Manager at Algonquin Studios in Buffalo, NY. He has an extensive background in web design and development and project management. Mike co-hosts and manages the website and social media. In his free time, Mike is into reading, classic rock, and playing Ultimate.

Matt Spencer

Matt is a Software Developer at MBMS, a mortgage banking software company, in Amherst, NY. His background is in Computer Science, Math, and Music. Matt co-hosts the podcast and prepares content including Sabres news and rumors. In his free time, Matt enjoys playing the piano and video games.
