YNG offers us some new visuals. It’s not what we’re typically used to from the MC, it’s cool to see something different.
I meant to post this video earlier, but better late than never. This track is off of his latest project Brightest Nights Darkest Days.
Protostar does it again. After unleashing songbird Rochelle Jordan, Tara/King makes her debut with “Don’t Even.” The entrancing song tells a story that most of us can relate too. “Don’t Even” will appear on her upcoming project Kissed by a Bullet…Shot By Love, which she says was inspired by a traumatizing event in her life.
The project was inspired by an event in which I was caught in a crossfire. A bullet came through the car door and skimmed my chest ending its travel over my heart. It came at time in my life when I was really depressed. The incident took me out of my depression and inspired me to follow my heart. Because of that I wanted to create a body of work that would speak to those familiar with heartbreak, but who remain strong enough to love anyways.
@ASVPxRocky and @ASAPMob are the first up for DDotOmen.com’s brand new series called “Return Of The Mac”. The concept is quite simple, where ever me and your favorite artist are, whether it be in a dressing room, tour bus, baby shower, this MacBook Air will come out and capture an exclusive freestyle over some of the latest instrumentals. Got it? good. This one took place at DTLR Headquarters in the DMV. Shout to Candice Nicole and Chace Infinite. Most of all, salute to The Beat Bully for providing the official version of Stay Schemin’, solely for their use. By the way, this is only part 1.

Meet my new musical obsession: Yuna. I went to her performance yesterday in Brooklyn, she was absolutely phenomenal. Yuna is one of those artists who sounds great, but you see her live and she sounds even better than that. Yuna hails all the way from Malaysia, she has an unbelieve spirit; kind, humble and incredibly grateful to all that she’s accomplished up to now.
Her impressive performance got an introduction by Pharrell, who I didn’t expect to see there. You can watch that and more of her performance after the break. Thanks to Mikey for the footage.
Huge props to The Fader for putting this together.

My eyes really didn’t feel comfortable watching the whole thing…but even then this isn’t what I really expected by “music video.” Ah well.
There’s something I like about Ro Ransom. This is my first time really listening to him, although I’ve seen his name floating around before. Here’s a new song of his that hit the inbox. I usually don’t like when artists go in over classic instrumentation but this one striked me favorably.
Doesn’t it somehow feel like we’ve been tricked with some epic, yet very short marketing propaganda? Madonna comes out of nowhere with a song featuring two of rap’s leading ladies, dominates the Superbowl, and then POW…she’s announcing a world tour a few days later?
But who’s complaining…it’s Madonna. I’m definitley trying to fill a seat at this show.

I really wanted to go to this show, but there were like 3 other events going on at the same time. There’s only one of me ya know?
