The Day the World Went Wacky
by admin on January 17, 2012
Yes, God made a perfect world but something has made it go crazy! This original and entertaining rhyming book retells the story of Genesis 3 and what it means for us today. Using a unique combination of humor and apologetics, The Day the World Went Wacky tells the account of the Garden of Eden in a fresh and challenging way.
The factual and delightful picture book is one of three books written by Janine Suter and published by Master Books. Ken Ham, president of Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum says of the series, “What a thrill to have these great new Bible-upholding books available…and in a fun and humorous way! Children discover the Book of Genesis doesn’t present mere stories or fables, but real history – with vital biblical truths for all age levels.”

I think it is very important for our kids to learn the book of Genesis because they need to know that God created everything and that it is very good. They also need to know that we live in a fallen world and it can never be perfect again.

Yes, it’s vitally important to teach children Genesis. They need to believe that the Bible is true from “the very first verse” as Ken Ham says….. it would be impossible to shield them from the evolution theory forever and if they aren’t already equipped with their faith and some facts of their own, they may be led astray because the “world” doesn’t believe that science can exist with Genesis – our children must be prepared to stand strong.
Thanks for a great party last night- had a great time!

It is important for kids to know how all of what we live in was created. They need to know how and why they were created. And they need to know where sin came from. All of this is learn in Genesis. And its one of my favorite books of the bible.

It is extremely important that my children know all about Creation and how God designed the world to be! I also want them to know about how sin entered into this world and how the world was never meant to be a perfect place to live. God saved that for Heaven! It was all apart of His perfect plan!

It is important for my kids to know that it is God who created the world we live in. They also need to understand why there is sin in the world. Genesis is the start of the wonderful story of God.

Oops, posted before I added! Genesis is so important for kids to learn! Life has value because it was created by God!

It gives meaning to our existence and our purpose. I remember being naturally curious by Kindergarten about where different things in the universe came from and did not have a Christian upbringing, but intuitively found standard scientific answers lacking.

Genesis is vital to teach kids because it is the foundation of the rest of the Bible. All doctrines and if we can’t trust Genesis why would be trust the rest.

I believe Genesis is extremely important to teach to our children because it explains fundamentals like how our world began, how we were created, how sin entered our world and thus our need for a savior, and Israel’s special role.

Very important, it is the basis for so much that we teach- science, history, and more.

I believe it’s important to teach Genesis to our kids because this is where it all began and where we have our foundation for our convictions. If we don’t take God at His word, what are we to stand upon…all else is sifting sand…this is why it’s important to teach it. He is our Creator why use someone else’s manual?

I just took on the challenge of teaching nursery children lessons from the Bible instead of just babsitting and watching them play. I think this would be a great book to read to them (mostly it’s one) and a great way for them to learn!!

and I think it’s important to teach Genesis because it lays the foundation for the rest of the Bible and tells the truth about Who, How and Why we and the universe was created!!

It is of the utmost importance to teach our children about Genesis for it is the foundation for everything else.
