Spring Editorial Photo Shoot
Hello Gorgeous!!!!
I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather out ( I know I am!) Wish it was as nice as it is today last Friday, when EngieStyle was styling for a photo shoot on the beach. So, let me tell you a little bit about the shoot. It was for a magazine (I can’t tell you which one just yet), editorial spread for their March issue.
Let’s not forget this is a week after the snow storm happened in New York and Jersey area. You have an idea now how cold it was on a beach that day. On the other hand, orange shirt, peach color dress, gorgeous red gown, and color of the sky dress, kept our hearts warm and helped us to enjoy every moment of it.
As you may know, I’m pretty new to EngieStyle and this was my first experience on set of a photo shoot. Some might say, how can you enjoy being out on the cold all day? My answer would be, seeing Engie styling the models and implementing her and the photographer’s idea into life, brings satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment.
We had two gorgeous models working with us, who were real troopers trying on outfits and making it seem like it’s 90 degrees outside when in reality it was 40 degrees! One of the outfits that I absolutely loved was orange with red sheer shirts, that Engie combined with bright and very chic/glamorous earrings. I am sure after you see behind the scene pictures, your anticipation of spring will be unbearable… in a good way of course! Things you do for fashion.

“March and September issues are magazines biggest. When I’m styling for fashion spreads I usually pay very close attention to accessories and make sure I emphasis on the accent of the jewelry in order to make my vision clear of the style concept and vision. Jewelry plays a big part in my styling techniques, I’m a strong believer it can change your whole look and make the attire owned by you.” – Engie

Carlisle
Hello everyone!
My name is Inna. If you guys haven’t seen me around yet, it’s because I just started working for EngieStyle and let me tell you, it’s only been 2 months, but it felt like home from the first day.
Yesterday, EngieStyle was collaborating with Carlisle Showroom in organization of Fall/Holiday 2011 Fashion collection preview. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and 13-year partnership with Susan G. Komen for the cure. The event was full of great atmosphere and women who love fashion. Engie Hassan demonstrated holiday picks and helped style the fashion pieces together. It was a great event with an even greater cause filled with fun, fashion, and networking.
Proper Introduction
Hello WONDERFUL people of the fashion world! You probably have been seeing my XxJacqui around EngieStyle for the past few days and wondering who is this girl? Well here I am deciding to do a proper introduction.
My name is Jacqui Murray and I am an Assosiate Fashion Stylist and assistant stylist to Engie Hassan. I have worked with her for about 2 months now and it has been an amazing journey. About 2 weeks after I started it was the craziest time of the year. No not Christmas but my Christmas FASHION WEEK! I was thrown into the craziness but it was amazing! I got to go to 4 shows a day!
In these past 2 months I have learned a lot. I learned that at a photo shoot you have to be up by 4am but it is all worth it when you see your styling in pictures. I learned how to pull and to contact. I hope I have many more experiences like this with EngieStyle!
Don’t worry folks this wont be the last time you’re hearing from me =]
