Evolving Beings was born out of a passion for awakening and seeking truth in all areas of life. It began as a blog in January 2008 and has today evolved into a free monthly online magazine.
Its mission, is to raise the global consciousness on the planet, help others awaken, and rise up to live life from their highest version – love and peace. It is also to help transition others through the changes that are taking place on our planet today.
Its vision, is to see a world where peace, love and light prevail. A world where conscious living is the norm, and we each see ourselves in the other. A world where we acknowledge we are all one, where we respect nature and take care of it and each other, with no discrimination, nor destruction of any species.
Evolving Beings hopes to inspire and awaken you to achieve and live a life based on balance, fulfillment, unconditional love, joy, passion, accountability and peace with oneself and others.
Evolving Beings was named so, as we know we are always evolving. Our soul’s natural state is to seek growth. It is through growth that we become the highest versions of ourselves. It is through growth that we become the loving creators that we naturally are.
Evolving Beings has a big emphasis on being our highest selves, as we know that from such a state all decisions, thoughts and actions are made very differently. In our highest state of being we are not inclined to hurt ourselves, others or our planet in any physical, mental or emotional way.
Evolving Beings is based on the idea that we are spiritual beings, having a physical experience. Thus, we are all powerful creators, and with the right focus and intention can create and live out the lives of our dreams. It is our understanding that life here need not be stressful, painful or difficult in any way. It just all depends on the perceptions we choose.
Evolving Beings does not view anything as inherently “bad” and “good” or “right” and “wrong”, for we know that all too often there is a greater and divine purpose for the events in this life. Also, none of us are in a place to judge the actions of another. Having said that, we know that there are actions and choices that do not serve the growth and evolution of the spirit. Hence, if we act from our highest state of being, we are making choices that serve our personal evolution and that of the greater good.
Evolving Beings is non-denominational and has no ties to any religion. It is based on universal spirituality. It is a site that welcomes all and excludes none. It respects the teachings of all the past and present teachers and masters, but knows that the most profound truths are those that we hold deep within, not those which others tell us to believe.
There is numerous material on this site—over 400 articles and videos combined—from myself and talented guest authors that deal with various areas of personal expansion on a mind, body and spirit level; self-growth, spirituality, metaphysics, heart-centered and conscious living. Feel free to browse, read, watch and enjoy anything that you find resonates with your being. As well we always welcome comments, questions, suggestions or other constructive feedback.
