The AERA Grants Program offers an annual 3-day training workshop, the AERA Institute on Statistical Analysis for Education Policy. The next training will be held May 16-18, 2012 in Washington, DC. Participation is competitive, with approximately 25 applicants chosen to attend each year. This year's application deadline is January 10, 2012.

AERA Faculty Institute for the Teaching of Statistics With Large-Scale Data Sets

The AERA Statistics Institute for Faculty seeks to instruct university faculty who teach basic statistics and quantitative research methods at the graduate level how to incorporate the analysis of large-scale education data sets into their courses. Participation is competitive, with approximately 25 applicants chosen to attend. The training will be held on July 5-8, 2012 at Stanford University. This year's application deadline is January 17, 2012.
