I’m starting to acquire quite a few yarn- and knitting-related tutorials so I am going to group them under one header to make it easier to find. Hope this makes things more convenient!
Kool-Aid Dyeing: Dye protein-based fiber and yarn with Kool-Aid. Its cheap, its non-toxic and its readily available. Stock up on Kool-Aid packets in the summer!
Color Class: I taught a class in the Spring of 2010 at the Sunflower Knitters Guild biennial event, Knitting in the Heartland. I focused on teaching basic color theory for knitters, spinners and dyers. I am archiving both the presentation and the handouts here for anyone who are interested in them.
