About Me

My name, in case you don’t already know, is Pete Czech, and I’m from the garden state – NJ. No, I’m not the goaltender for Chelsea, although, I am a fan for obvious reasons.  And no, I have no “Jersey” accent and have never even been to Seaside.

I’ve lived here all my life with the exception of the two years I lived in The Hague, Netherlands. I graduated from Montclair State University, in Montclair, NJ with a degree in Broadcast Communications.  Although, at the height of the dot-com bubble, I decided online was the place to be.

These days, I spend the majority of my time developing new internet sites and then keeping them running. You can see my efforts @ The New Possibilities Group, LLC.  Or, here is a list of some other past projects I’ve been involved in.  I specialize in open-source (LAMP) development, ongoing site maintenance, project management, and the list could go on.

I run a few sites myself where I dabble in the fields of affiliate marketing, social media, online advertising and the like.  In fact, it’s how I paid for my honeymoon.  More on that story another time.

And, whenever I find myself with any free time, I’m working on our 106 year old victorian house, puttering around the links, buying yet another camera or gadget, or taking some obnoxious trip for almost no explicable reason.

And if you want to turn me off, here are some DISLIKES:

Taxes, Mayo/Sour Cream/Cream Cheese/Cottage Cheese (ugh), Microsoft & Windows, the Stock Market and Wall Street as a whole, condos, American Cars (well, GM really), the Yankees, the NY Rangers, Los Angeles, dogs, new construction, working with Adobe Flash, bailouts, waking up before 10, flying westbound.
