Hoofer Ski and Snowboard Free Night

Hoofer SnS proudly presents to you:

FREE NIGHT AT TYROL

Saturday, February 11th

9pm-12:30am

Leave Park Street Circle at 8pm, return around 1:30am

 

Free lift ticket, free transportation, and free lessons, and rentals for $10

Sign-up in the OPO in the basement of Memorial Union, Spots on the bus are limited and WILL fill up fast.

 

Riders interested can opt to drive themselves out there (but still sign-up in the OPO) and plan to arrive around 9pm

Bus riders will have to meet at Park Street Circle on the side of Memorial Union facing Helen C. White Library @ 8pm sharp! Buses will load at this time.

 

This is a great opportunity for poor college students who love to ride and for those who have never gone out before! All are welcome, you don't need need to be a Hoofer member.

Looking to be new ski or snowboard equipment for the quickly approaching winter season?  Then, come check out the Hoofers Ski and Snowboard Club's Resale this weekend at Union South.

 

The event will be held Saturday Dec 3 9am-5pm and Sunday Dec 4 9am-3pm.

Haunted House - October 25 - Memorial Union (meet at Theater entrance)

Join us as we venture 'Six Floors Under' the Memorial Union. This close to Halloween, you'll never know what you'll run in to... Tours departing continuously between 7:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Admission is free!

Bike Ride to KWWF Corn Maze - October 26 - Memorial Union (meet at the Park Street Circle) 
Join Hoofer Outing Club as we bike around Lake Mendota to the KWWF Corn Maze. All are welcome! Please bring your bike and a helmet. Tour departs at 5:00 p.m. from the Park Street Circle adjacent to the Memorial Union.

Ghost Stories - October 26 - Memorial Union (meet in the Hoofers Bradley Lounge)
Join Hoofers and Union PubCom for an evening of spooky stories and sweet treats.  Come anytime between 8:00 p.m. and midnight, but don't stay too late... Admission is free! 

Underwater Pumpkin Carving - October 27 - Memorial Union Lakeshore
Join Hoofers SCUBA Club making jack-o-lanterns underwater! If you think carving a pumpkin on dry land is tricky, try doing it underwater!  This is a really fun dive and a great chance to meet other active club members and show off your carving skills too!

This event is open to all Open-Water certified divers that are members of the Hoofer SCUBA club, and all gear/air/pumpkins will be provided by the club for a flat fee of $10 (just to cover costs).  Sign-up is open via the events page (events.hooferscubaclub.org), using your Hoofers username/login.  Please sign-up no later than Tuesday 25th so that we can get numbers of pumpkins to purchase.  All pumpkins and tools will be provided by the club, and PRIZES will be awarded for the best-carved pumpkin!

Buccaneers Ball - October 27 - Memorial Union Tripp Commons
Come join your hosts, Hoofer Sailing Club, for a night of spooky fun!
The dance begins at 8:00 p.m. There will be a cash bar, music & dancing. Come dressed up as there will be a costume contest & games with fabulous prizes.  Everyone is welcome!
