Petzl and Ragnar team up to help HERA
Long-time HERA partner, Petzl, is donating one team entry to each of the 2012 Ragnar Relays, as well as Florida Keys and Del Sol in 2013, to the HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation. These special entries of $1,260 per team ($105 per person) will be available on a first-come basis. The first team to put together the $1,260 entry fee and pay it to HERA will receive an entry to the Ragnar Relay of their choice based on availability; only one team entry per Ragnar Relay. Team members will receive a special teal “Team HERA” t-shirt provided by Petzl.

Team Challenge
Teams are encouraged to raise funds for HERA to support their Ragnar Relay participation. The team that raises the most money in 2012 will receive a free entry for the Ragnar Relay of their choice in 2013, based on availability. The deadline for the team fundraising challenge is December 1, 2012. This fundraising challenge is only open to the 15 teams participating in this opportunity. What is Ragnar?
Ragnar is the overnight running relay race that makes testing your limits a team sport. Teams are made up of 12 individuals; each individual runs 3 legs. The legs of the race vary in difficulty and distance, from 3-8 miles, allowing elite and novice runners to run together. Over 2 days and 1 night, teams run across 200 miles of the country’s most scenic terrain. Pair that with crazy costumes, inside jokes, a great finish line party and unforgettable stories. Some call it a slumber party without sleep, pillows or deodorant. We call it Ragnar. For more details, click here.
