Welcome two new Christians in Prestonsburg, KY

Wonderful news from the Prestonsburg church of Christ...

January 29, 2012
This was a wonderful day for us! Three were restored, and two were baptized.
Sunday evening, the prayers of a young family were answered when Jasmine Porter (12) was baptized during our evening services. She'd been thinking about it for some time. She has a good Christian mother and father, and we welcome her to our family (we didn't get pics, but rejoice just the same!).

Earlier that afternoon, Marshall Fugate was baptized as well.

His best friend (who served as an elder here for many years) Mike Dye (left), and I were privileged to assist him.

Marshall has attended this congregation faithfully with his family for nearly forty years. Only God knows how many have prayed for Marshall - but none more than his wife, Jackie, and their twin sons, Wes and Les.

Marshall was already loved by all; we are so thankful that he is now our brother in Christ!
