2012 Waverly for Bernat Crochet-Along and Knit-Along

Welcome to the 2012 Waverly for Bernat Mystery Knit- and Crochet-Along! We know it's a bit of a mouthful, so from here on we'll be referring to it as the KAL/CAL. In this post you'll find everything you need to get started!

What it is

Who?	Anyone who loves to knit or crochet, or who is interested in trying it for the first time. Most clues are at an Easy skill level. Don't worry if you're worried about not being experienced enough, because we will be releasing video tutorials for each technique!
What?	A Knit-Along (KAL) or Crochet-Along (CAL) is simply good people knitting or crocheting together. You can share your experiences, your troubles, and your triumphs, and with any luck, end up with an amazing afghan at the end! The "Mystery" in the title refers to the fact that the afghan's final design is a secret. Each week we will release a clue - a pattern for one section of the afghan. Over the duration of the KAL/CAL you'll be making all the sections of the afghan, and finally putting them all together and sharing your results! Finished afghan measurements: KAL: Approx 45" x 59" [114.5 x 150 cm]. CAL: Approx 46½" x 62" [118 x 152.5 cm].
When?	We're already chatting it up on the Bernat Forums, but the first clue will officially be released at 10am EST on Wednesday, Feb 15th. Subsequent clues will be released on Wednesdays at 10am EST.
