Ghana Teaching Projects

While access to basic education, particularly for girls, has increased in recent years, access to secondary education remains limited in many rural areas.  Schools are vastly underfunded and the quality of education suffers.  If you’ve ever had a teacher who believed in you, then you know the encouraging impact it has on your life.  Come be that impact.  Spend two weeks of your summer helping teachers and students in Ghana. 
You’d get experience:

  • Assisting in the classroom
  • Developing curriculum
  • Helping with after school programs
  • Improving school operations.

If you’re interested in a career in education, this could be the volunteer program for you.
