Description
This is the most comprehensive rock climbing clinic we have to offer at Chicks Rock! We have put together the “full package” affair so you don’t have to worry your pretty little head about anything except showing up to climb. Enjoy the camaraderie of camping together, sharing meals and hanging our with the Girly Guides. You will have the opportunity to network with other women climbers and create life long friends. Chicks Rock! is so much more than just climbing – it will have a lasting impact on your life! We welcome beginner to advanced rock climbers with 5 different levels you can choose from.
Transportation is not included, please see our travel beta page for directions to the site. If you want to stay at a hotel please see our suggested lodging list and make reservations on your own. We will be located at the Group Campground, which is walking distance from the climbing area. Please check our what to bring list list to make sure you have everything you need.
Schedule
Day 1 – Friday, July 27:
Arrive at the Park by 4 p.m. to get settled into the group campsite.
5:00 p.m.: Kick off meeting for the Chicks Rock! clinic at the Chicks Rock! group campsite. Catered group dinner, orientation, meet with your climbing group.
Day 2 – Saturday, July 28:
Chicks Rock! clinic, 4-to-1 ratio
7:00 a.m.: Breakfast provided at camp. Pack your lunch at the lunch spread
8:00 a.m.: Meet at the Chicks Rock! group campsite geared up for the day
4:00 p.m.: Climbing day ends
6:30 p.m.: Dinner out on the town
Day 3 – Sunday, July 29:
Chicks Rock! clinic, 4-to-1 ratio
7:00 a.m.: Breakfast provided at camp. Pack your lunch at the lunch spread
8:00 a.m.: Meet at the Chicks Rock! group campsite geared up for the day
4:00 p.m.: Climbing day ends
6:30 p.m.: Catered dinner & celebration at the Chicks Rock! group campsite. Hang out and tell lies around the campfire!
Day 4 – Monday, July 30:
Chicks Rock! clinic, 4-to-1 ratio
7:00 a.m.: Breakfast provided at camp. Pack your lunch at the lunch spread
8:00 a.m.: Meet at the Chicks Rock!group campsite geared up for the day
2:00 p.m.: Climbing day ends
3:00-4:30 p.m.: Wrap up meeting/closing ceremony at the Chicks Rock! group campsite. End.
