Seekers, Skeptics, and Sushi

Are you curious about Christianity but not sure how you relate to ‘church?’ Do you want to understand what the Bible teaches, but don’t know where to start? Are you looking for answers to some tough questions, but don’t know a safe place to ask your questions? If so, there is a place for you.

Seekers, Skeptics, and Sushi is an informal discussion group designed to facilitate respectful, moderate dialogue. The group serves people who are curious about Christianity by creating space in which doubt and disbelief is discussed not dismissed. We believe dialoguing through doubt and disbelief can enrich and empower authentic faith in Jesus Christ. Struggling with matters of faith presents the opportunity to stymie superficiality and stimulate substantial personal growth. Seekers, Skeptics, and Sushi provides an avenue to do just that.Lead by Pastor Andrew, the group meets weekly over lunch/dinner, dessert, or coffee. Community Groups

Community Groups provide an opportunity for men and women to build personal relationships and to practice applying the gospel to their lives. Each group expects to experience Jesus Christ in its midst, enabling participants to be transformed through mutual ministry and to experience life in the family of God. As God made us for community, we need others to help us better apprehend, appreciate, and apply the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The groups are composed of 8-12 people and meet in homes throughout Seattle. Each week offers something a little different as our groups follow a four week cycle of fellowship, study, service, and study. Our community groups grow, study, and serve the community together. They are open groups and can be joined at any time. If you are interested in participating, please click here.
