Hi I’m Stacy, and surprise, surprise I love to eat! Besides eating I also love cooking, laughing, running, my dog Moose, Spring, wakeboarding, wine, goats…
And this guy! My fiance Chris is the best.
Leading a healthy lifestyle is very important to me. Not only is it beneficial but I think it’s also really fun!
To incorporate more vegetables into my vegetarian diet, I joined Moore Farms and Friends CSA in 2010. I usually order a box of fruits and vegetables on a weekly basis. So be on the look out for pictures of the local and seasonal items I get.
Chris and I really enjoy trying new recipes as well as new vegetables. Before the CSA I had never dared to eat a turnip, let alone a beet! Now I embrace all vegetables by at least trying them once. (Below is beet soup!)
Some other fun/random facts about me:
- I’m 25 years old and was born on April Fools Day (guess that means I’m a fool )
- I was born and raised in Atlanta and still live here
- I am a middle child (I have an older sister and younger brother) and a proud aunt to my sister’s daughter
- I work at a marketing agency in Atlanta doing all things Facebook advertising
- I’m addicted to pizza, Mexican food and chocolate
- I have run 6 half marathons and I’m always looking for another to run
- I’m currently engrossed in planning our wedding for May of 2012
