Where did the name come from?

Our name is based on a modern version of the classic rhyme by poet Robert Southey. You know the one:

What are little boys made of?

What are little boys made of?

Frogs and snails

And puppy-dogs’ tails,

That’s what little boys are made of.

The Frog and Snail Society is the fancy version of the name, but you can just call it the Frog & Snail if you like. There’s no need to be so formal since we’re friends.
