English in the Philippines is rapidly becoming a unique dialect, with its own grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. In this mini-course, we'll talk about the primary grammar problems experienced by the average Filipino. These are not the only topics you should study, but they are the biggest and most common problems for English-speaking Filipinos.

If you practice the things we discuss here, your English skills will definitely improve.

As you study these articles, it's very important to understand that knowledge alone is not enough to produce a change in your English. You must make a conscious effort to use these skills whenever you speak English. If you don't apply this knowledge in daily conversation, your English abilities will not improve. There is a difference between "knowing" and "doing".
