Hi all,

as many of you might know I have been involved in the Internet Marketing scene now for just over 3 years. However I have actually been in out of the loop for around the last 6 months as I recently started an offline company with my new business partner (Lukasz) in the weight loss & fitness niche (see video and post below for more info).

This new offline business involved finding new offices to operate from, legally registering the company with companies house as a Limited (LTD) company, setting up business accounts with the local bank, attending exhibitions to promote our new range, networking with directors and buyers within the weight loss and fitness niche and many other various advertising, marketing and sales activities.

So as you can imagine I have been pretty busy in the last 6 months getting our new business venture up and running.

However I was always determined that I would not let this new venture take me away from the Internet marketing scene as I had already previously put in a lot of work into my online business, especially with regards to building a mailing list, making important contacts online, creating products and setting up my online marketing services site. Also not to mention the amount of money I had invested in IM products!

So with the offline business now set up and running, I decided it was time to slowly ease myself back into the Internet marketing scene and begin to pick up where I left off. However this was not as easy as it sounds. It seems 6 months away from the IM scene can be rather along time in some peoples eyes as I quickly noticed that a lot of the contacts I had made and even built friendships with were no longer so forth coming after finding out that I left the online scene behind to pursue another business venture.

Even though I had explained that it was an opportunity I couldn’t afford to miss, some of my IM contacts were mildly annoyed that I dropped everything to pursue a new business and saw it as some kind of betrayal. Whether this was because I was not around to help promote their products or simply because I had other interests, I am not entirely sure. Buy hey-ho, you win some you lose some and I am very thankful that I still have some very good friends in the IM niche that I can turn too and even do business with.

Anyway the point to this post is that I feel my Internet Marketing journey begins again right here and I couldn’t be more excited. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning and cant wait to get my teeth stuck back into it as Internet marketing is a real passion of mine and I do get a genuine kick of helping others, interacting with others and sharing ideas in the same field.

I know I have been away for a while and do want to offer an official apology to anyone who was and still is subscribed to my email list. It has been a long time since I sent out any kind of email or broadcast but if you are still subscribed I can assure you that I have some great content coming soon.

I am also in the process of creating my much delayed affiliate marketing product which teaches others online how to make money as an affiliate including the complete process of choosing a suitable product to promote, setting up a review/bonus site, getting that site ranked in the Search engines in time for launch and so so much more!

I will even be listing my new product as a WSO (Warrior Special Offer) for a limited time before the official launch so my subscribers and fellow warriors can grab access at a knock down price way ahead of the launch date.

By the way, if creating a WSO is something you have been thinking about then I would recommend John Thornhill’s WSO Domination. I recently purchased it as a WSO for a reduced price and am steadily going through the content which I have to admit is top notch, especially the training videos where John leaves no stone unturned in creating the perfect WSO. I shall be copying and using his methods to create my own WSO in the coming weeks.

Any way, that’s all for now, I know this is a longer post than normal but I just wanted to share my joy at officially returning to the Internet Marketing scene. Please do watch out for my next post where I will be exposing all of the IM products I have bought to date (which is a lot) and what I have done with them.

Five Reasons Why Auctions Fail

1. You and your bidders don’t understand each other

Do you get annoyed with local retailers or tradesmen? Or get tired of listening to recorded music on the phone when you’re waiting to talk to someone?

On eBay you are the supplier to your customers. Do you sometimes think “I don’t need to explain this any more, people will understand”? That’s taking your customers for granted.

Create your auctions so that anyone can understand them, including new eBayers. Test them on your friends and family. Ask for criticism. Where there are faults correct them, and keep up your good practices with subsequent auctions. Treat your customers the way you want to be treated.

2. Low positive feedback

A lot of people are too attached to their eBay IDs. Maybe you made a few mistakes when you started off. Perhaps you went on holiday and didn’t ship orders on time. If you have too many negative or neutral feedback ratings, consider opening a new account. Many eBayers are not aware that you can have more than one account. But it’s easy to open one with a new or different email address. You’ll know not to make the same mistakes with your new account.

3. Not shipping overseas

Thousands of bidders are missing out on sales by not allowing overseas customers to buy from them. If your items are suitable for sending abroad, check postal costs for sending your items overseas and include the details in your auction.

4.Weak auction titles

Make sure you get the important keywords relevant to the item you’re selling into the title. If you use a subheader, there’s no need to waste this with keywords, as the subheader isn’t included in searches. Mix important words in capitals with less relevant words in lower case to capture your prospect’s attention.

5. Low quality images

Amateurish photographs can lose you an auction. If you are selling an electronic item, search Google for a stock image. You can use these legitimately, the images are there to sell the products. However, be upfront with your customers if the item doesn’t look as good as the picture! I have always used stock images on second hand items and have never had any complaints. If you have any unusual items that don’t fit this criteria, again see what the best of your competitors are doing and draw inspiration from them.

Keep on top of these five aspects of selling, and you should see an improvement in your eBay auction success rate.
