In September 2007 BestBlogBox.com was up and open for the web. At first, BBB was born as a personal project for organising inspiring web and graphic designs, but within time turns into great resource for webmasters, marketers and designers. Today a few writers are involved sniffing the web and pulling the freshness into BBB. We are not into specific branch of the design industry, but more we aim to gather the most fresh social community news, design trends, contests announcements, conferences, industry events, resources, tutorials, inspirations, online marketing tips and publish them on our site. Today we average a couple thousand unique visitors with 5000-10000 page views per day.

Learning from experiences

As you can see from our archives, there is no records before March 2009 and the reason is just as you can imagine. Our VPS crashed and unfortunely the hosting provider was not able to provide backups…huge data has been lost. 100′s of articles has gone and our Page Rank decrease to PR1 from PR6, but we didnt give up and start again from zero. Since we schould learn from lessons, right now we are hosted on our own dedicated server and are very proud of it. Now we have gone a bit more into colorful, structured and cluttered design as from the first version of BBB.

Since there was a need to start from zero, we decided just to go with a new and improved site interface and functions and upgread to the site model you see today. As you might know there are a lot of similar sites out there, and BestBlogBox is just one of them. What sets us apart from many is that we focus on quality only and include the best of the best…that might mean fewer updates, but it’s better updates. The BBB Content mainly attract designers, illustrators, webmasters, online marketters and common people with an interest in the web and anything arround it. The visitors for our site mainly exist of web geeks and the like, but we do our best to enlarge and diversify our audience.
