The Lost City Review
Review Posted by Devin Wilson, Yesterday
You’d think there would be more point-and-click adventure games for touchscreen devices, but right now, it's still a pleasant surprise when an App Store developer comes along with a new entry in the genre. The Lost City is a point-and-click adventure game in the tradition of games like Myst, and while it’s light on the surprise half of “pleasant surprise,” it's a reasonably enjoyable way to spend some time with your iPhone.

Star Warfare: Alien Invasion Review
Review Posted by Phil Eaves, Yesterday
Star Warfare: Alien Invasion is just the kind of game you'd expect from the title. It's a science-fiction shooter that pits you against alien swarms in wave after wave of three-dimensional, dual-stick craziness. There's a story to this game, but you probably wouldn't know it. The story scrolls by in a tiny text box at the speed of light, but it's not a huge loss. This genre has never been known for its amazing storytelling.

DoDonPachi Blissful Death Review
Review Posted by Nadia Oxford, Yesterday
Now that iOS devices have established themselves as gaming platforms, we can safely label the genres that work well with the touchscreen, as well as those that don't. For instance, the good souls over at CAVE have successfully demonstrated that the iOS touchscreen and the bullet hell branch of the shoot 'em up (shmup) genre are a match made in (bullet?) heaven.

One Epic Game Review
Review Posted by Chris Reed, Yesterday
You might be thinking to yourself, “I need another auto-runner like I need a compound fracture in my leg.” But if you have room in your heart (and space on your iOS device) for one more endless running game, One Epic Game is the one to get. It doesn’t bring anything especially new to the genre, but it repackages the best ideas from existing auto-runners and adds a layer of humor that's silly enough to lift anyone’s spirits.

Raid Leader Review
Review Posted by Tim Rattray, 2 days ago
Serious MMO players, especially those who play World of Warcraft, know the glory of taking down a huge boss in a raid. As the name suggests, Raid Leader takes this concept and applies it to top-down real-time gameplay. It’s an intriguing concept, but the execution is downright frustrating at times.

Super Meat Boy Developer Mulling Release for Touch Devices
News Posted by Chris Reed, 2 days ago
Team Meat, the developer of the deviously challenging 2D platformer Super Meat Boy, took to Twitter yesterday to say that they're working on a "prototype" of the game "for touch devices." They were very clear, however, that if the game happens, it will not be a direct port of the Super Meat Boy that you can play on the PC and Xbox Live Arcade.

Battlefield 3: Aftershock Review
Review Posted by Chris Reed, 2 days ago
EA messed up big time by releasing Battlefield 3: Aftershock in its current state. There’s no possible reason that this laggy, unplayable piece of software should have been let loose on the App Store. It’s a frustrating mess that will bring you nothing but headaches and gamer rage.

Ragdoll Blaster 3 Review
Review Posted by Tim Rattray, 2 days ago
For Backflip Studios, the evolution of the Ragdoll Blaster series is a clear marker of their progressive success. The first game featured simple pen-and-paper visuals, the second had a much more original steampunk look, and now the third has full-on 3D models. However, one thing has been consistent: quality level design. In the latest iteration of the series, this remains mostly true.
