Hi! I’m Sarah, a web designer and aerialist from Michigan. I spend my days wrangling code for the websites of a Detroit TV station and my evenings and weekends doing crazy circus tricks.
I’ve been swinging on the trapeze, lyra and aerial silks since January 2010. If you’d like to see all my aerial posts, including my first class when I couldn’t even get on the trapeze >_< click here. I’m now performing with The Weird Sisters Circus and teaching people to fly at The DAKA.
In addition to working on websites for my day job I love designing for bloggers and businesses on a freelance basis. If you’re looking for updated graphics or a whole site makeover, check out my portfolio here!

Hey just came across your site and came to read your bio and saw you were from the metro Detroit area, as am I! I always get geeked when I see other locals on the web.
I took an aerial class in Detroit one time…I had no upper body strength and could not accomplish anything in the class, and then I hurt myself the day after and couldn’t return. I dream of going back, I need to get my strength up before I do. You aerialist are strong cookies!
I see you talk about a lot of stuff locally so I’ll definitely be coming back. Cheers!

Hi Jessica! You should definitely give it another shot – I had no upper body strength or flexibility when I started. Just takes a lot of practice!
Hello! I do enjoy your blog – its very inspiring! I looked into aerial yoga classes nearby t’other day but the only thing google came up with was tv aerial installation… ah well! Keep spreading the happy! All the best, Gemma

Thanks Gemma! Sounds like you’ll just have to start an aerial studio on your basement ;)
Oo Michigan! Hello state-neighbor! I’m from Ohio =] Nice to see someone kinda close.
Tim Burton, The Office, and correct grammar? I like you already.
We need to be friends.
Ok?
Go.
:-)
yay for Metro Detroit! When you mentioned the music scene I had to click over and see who you were :) Found you via the 20sb blog feed.
Saw your post on Bikini or Bust. Let me know if you would like to interview Ashley on July, 24
We should be friends. I enjoy reading, watching TV and eating dessert. In that order.
Hooray for the 20SB exchange and finding new cool peeps through it!
Hi Sarah. Nice blonk.
