About Me and the blog

Until March 2011, I just sold all of my designs through Adori Graphics. However, Adori Graphics was initially set up as a blog design blog, my home for selling and showcasing my free, premade and custom blog designs. However, due to customer demand, I started creating digital scrapbooking kits, image stock and custom illustration too. These are increasing in popularity all the time and Adori Graphics was soon beginning to drown under the weight of scrapbooking and illustrations. So, in 2011, I split things up and embarked upon a (scary) move to WordPress! We now have everything on the Louise Franks Designs domain and things are going well for us here….better than ever!

I now offer my free, premade and free blog designs from Louise Franks {Blog} Designs and also have my tutorials and blogging articles there too. All digital scrapbooking kits and premade illustrations (essentially anything paid for and instantly downloaded) will be sold from here. You may also wish to check out my personal blog if you’d like to get to know me better.

I make all of my own graphics and rarely (if ever) use commercially available image stock. My doodles are typically drawn using a graphics tablet and pen, or scanned and extracted from actual sketches and drawings. If you’d like to know more about this, please get in touch.

I’m not a full time designer, I’m actually an engineer by day and a designer by night. In my spare time I enjoy photography, painting and going on days out to local attractions (such as castles, old houses etc), parks, public gardens and I love nothing more than a trip to the beach or the mountains!
