I honestly can’t remember the last time I was in a limo. Must have been memorable, yes? I have taken them a few times at special events – for dinners, to parties… but there isn’t anything recent that screams, ‘that was the best time ever!’. However…. I can tell you this one little story about a limo ride… a very good one. It was a surprise I managed to pull off for my husband’s 30th birthday. Now, that was a few years ago, but it is still a story worth sharing, so here goes: (that’s your cue to watch the video!)

I am a theme song junkie.  From the Degrassi Junior High theme song (#Canadian) to the Family Matters theme song, I know ‘em all.  I had a hard time choosing which one to perform for you, I went through my repertoire and considered everything from iCarly to Phineas & Ferb to Chip and Dales Rescue Rangers.  Here’s me lip syncing to one of my all-time faves: Tiny Toon Adventures, a classic 90′s cartoon! And yes, I may be a little looney myself.  But, as I recently shared in another video, one of my laugh mottos is being able to laugh at myself.  This song with give YOU permission to laugh at me too.

I met my best friend in high school. And yes, it was *many* years ago! She was The New Girl who was being picked on by The Mean Girl. Ok, she didn’t exactly know that she was being picked on-until I informed her that she was. The important thing is that we’ve been best friends ever since. We still keep in very close contact, thanks to mobile phones and social media. The Mean Girl? She turned out to be a very nice lady and a sweet mom. See? You never know who is going to make a real positive difference in your life. Without her, I would never have met my best friend. Thanks, Mean Girl!

Romantic thing, huh?  That my husband did for me???  Like, recently???  Does going outside to fart count? 
Hmmm….Well, when I asked my husband for a reminder on the last romantic thing he did, this was his answer: “Well, there’s just so many things, it’s hard to narrow it down to just one.” 
And then later he said, “You know what it is?  It’s that I believe being romantic is more of a lifestyle than just something you do every once in awhile.” 
And that my friends, is why this one was tough for me to answer.
