The Sacramento County Public Information Office (PIO) communicates information about county government to the media, general public, other governmental agencies, and the business community. Our goal is to ensure that you have the information you need in a timely and efficient manner. For your convenience, we have listed frequently requested resources and topics of interest.

The list of departments is intended to give a general overview of Sacramento County Departments and Agencies. You’ll also be able to view our organizational chart, check out specific divisions and programs, and learn more about various appointed Boards and Commissions within Sacramento County.
