About
Thanks for stopping by!
Hay there! My name is Christine Giamattei.
Born and raised just north of Boston, I graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass in May 2010. With a hard-earned History degree in hand, I lived and worked in New York City for a year and a half and now I’m back in Boston!
I started this blog way back in October 2009 to document my senior year of college. And though sometimes I pretend I’m still in college (don’t we all?!), a little thing called graduation DID happen… you know, that whole cap and gown, Pomp and Circumstance, diploma thing… sometimes I forget.
Since then, the blog has become an account of my varied interests and hobbies and life as a post-grad in the city, running from one thing to the next.
When I’m not at my office job or ridin’ some kind of public transit, I can be found hitting the pavement for a sweaty run, toeing the start line of a road race, spending time with my family and friends, eating more pizza than anyone you know, quoting every movie from Home Alone to The Fighter, and trying to figure out how to start a spontaneous dance party wherever I am.
To me, every day is another day to celebrate. And believe me, in ways big and small, I always do.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments or just to say hi!
