Adam Smith was born in 1983 in ever-shrinking rural Pennsylvania in a small town called Worcester, about 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia. He has always been drawing, creating, taking things apart and putting them back together (although not necessarily the way they were before.) As a kid, when his mom wouldn’t let him have toy guns he was left to his wits to fashion them out of Legos. In 2005 he graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Metals and Jewellery. After a few years of working in 3 dimensions, Adam's work evolved into 2D, including painting, screen-printing, illustration, and design. Inspiration strikes from many directions like urban fashion, graffiti and street art, music, skateboarding, tattoos, and pop culture.
