Workshop on September 29, 2011: i4Energy Center Research funded by the Public Interest E/nergy Research (PIER) Program of the California Energy Commission (CEC) |
David Culler appointed Faculty Director of the i4Energy Center |
The i4Energy Center is a collaboration among CITRIS (U.C. Berkeley, Davis, Merced, and Santa Cruz); the California Institute for Energy and Environment (CIEE); and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). The mission of the Center is: to facilitate and promote research on system-integrated enabling technologies that will achieve better energy efficiency, improved demand / response, and dramatic improvements in energy distribution. |
On January 29, 2010, we formally introduced the new i4Energy space on the fourth floor of Sutardja Dai Hall in the Banatao Institute at CITRIS; Following the dedication, there was a poster session of current research displayed throughout the i4Energy space, and a demonstration of a small sampling of technologies that have been derived from our on-going research.Read more |
